First Transport Solutions (FTS), a long-standing client of Rise, has committed to a major upgrade of its digital mobility platform as part of the continued growth and evolution of its contract with Amazon — one of its most high-profile clients.

Rise has supported FTS for several years with a tailored solution for bookings, compliance, and on-the-day operational delivery. With the Amazon contract now entering a new phase, FTS is investing further in the Rise platform — commissioning an upgraded booking experience for passengers, enhanced driver app capabilities, and a more powerful back-office environment for real-time reporting and performance insight.

The work also includes a deeper integration with Ticketer, which is used across around 50% of the operational fleet when vehicles are provided directly by First. For the remaining journeys — delivered by outsourced operator partners — the Rise Driver App continues to play a critical role in delivering real-time tracking and ticket validation.

This expansion also includes a move to Rise’s latest high-performance platform instance, offering greater scalability, improved responsiveness, and a more robust foundation to meet the increasing demands of the Amazon operation.
